RF Test Engineer
This Statement of Work is intended to cover an Engineering resource over the next two years of CABU development. The Resource is needed to support Design Engineering teams in both Lawrenceville (primary) and CRDC / Shanghai (secondary).
The Engineer will be required to work alone on assigned projects for current and newly proposed Cisco products. Additionally, they will be expected to work on roadmap and prototype hardware in an engineering environment.
The roadmap includes Extended Spectrum hardware, Full Duplex DOCSIS Remote Phy, Node, Amp and Tap products. The resource will be required to set up a network or link to the correct levels using Cisco Accessories and plug-ins in the product to be tested. The support equipment also needed includes fiber, coax, splitters, and couplers.
Testing skills required on Hybrid Fiber Coax equipment. The engineer will be working in the Optical and RF field with DOCSIS 3.0 and 3.1 development hardware. RF skills should also include experience with Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, RF test Receivers, Power meters, and associated bench equipment.
Test measurements are required for S-Parameters, Noise, RF Power, NPR, MER, and BER. Also required is experience with equipment that tests Distortion, HUM Modulation, Automatic Gain Control in equipment such as Environmental Chambers and HALT tests stations.
The Engineer is required to be versed in computer skills such as Windows and Office application software. They are responsible for taking, collating and presenting data to engineering management on new product performance as compared to current hardware
